Get ready to shake your tail feathers and scramble like never before! We’ve got more energy than a toddler on espresso and enough excitement to rival a chicken crossing the road—just to get to this party. Expect good vibes, great company, and possibly one or two surprise appearances by overly enthusiastic barn owls.

Schedule

• 6:00 PM – Doors Open & Welcome Drinks
  Come waltzing—or tiptoeing, or moonwalking—through our doors and grab a drink. We promise we won’t judge if you rock up in flip‑flops.

• 6:45 PM – Remarks from Scramble
  Our candidate will deliver a speech so inspiring, you’ll wonder if they secretly hired a motivational llama.

• 7:15 PM – Community Q&A
  Got burning questions? Fire away—just keep the literal flames in the barbecue zone, please.

• 8:00 PM – Light Bites & Networking
  Sample our world‑famous crumb‑catchers (AKA sliders) and mingle like it’s speed dating… except everyone already loves you.

• 9:00 PM – Closing Toast
  Raise your glass (or water bottle, we don’t discriminate) as we toast to a night of democracy, dialogue, and delightful dessert catastrophes.

How to Get There

Public Transport:

• Bus routes 12, 27, and 48 stop at Meadow Lane—more reliable than your cousin Bob’s GPS.

• Dogchester North rail station is a 10‑minute walk (or a brisk jog if you’re late).

Parking:
Complimentary parking is available on-site; there’s more spaces than socks in your laundry hamper.

Subject: As my local MP, please back Heathrow expansion

Dear Deirdre Costigan,

As you’ll be aware, Chancellor Rachel Reeves has given her backing to a third runway at Heathrow. As a supporter of the Back Heathrow campaign group, I’m pleased the government has given expansion the go-ahead, which will boost our local economy. Many families in Southall rely on the airport’s growth and the opportunities it brings to secure our livelihoods.

We’re proud of our past MPs who’ve backed a new runway, and I hope you’ll continue that support. We believe this expansion, along with its environmental safeguards, is key to securing a bright future for Southall. So we’re counting on you to help get spades in the ground before the end of this Parliament.
