Subject: As my local MP, please back Heathrow expansion
Dear Deirdre Costigan,
As you’ll be aware, Chancellor Rachel Reeves has given her backing to a third runway at Heathrow. As a supporter of the Back Heathrow campaign group, I’m pleased the government has given expansion the go-ahead, which will boost our local economy. Many families in Southall rely on the airport’s growth and the opportunities it brings to secure our livelihoods.
We’re proud of our past MPs who’ve backed a new runway, and I hope you’ll continue that support. We believe this expansion, along with its environmental safeguards, is key to securing a bright future for Southall. So we’re counting on you to help get spades in the ground before the end of this Parliament.
